Phali – Cluster beans ( गवारफली )

Cluster beans, also known as guar/gawar phali (Cyamopsis tetragonoloba), are a type of legume commonly grown in India and Pakistan. They have a slightly bitter taste and are rich in fiber, protein, and nutrients like iron and folate. The beans are often used in traditional dishes, such as curries or stir-fries. Cluster beans are also a key source of guar gum, used as a thickening agent in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
